Hi, I’m Brandon, and I’m a student who is studying at Colorado State University. I’m majoring in Journalism and Media Communication, and minoring in business. I was born and raised in Oklahoma, having only moved out to Colorado shortly before turning 18. Despite my roots, I immediately felt very at home in Colorado, and have loved everything about living here. I haven’t forgotten where I came from however, and it’s because of that I want to become a journalist. No matter who I work for in the future, I want to make sure that I’m writing and reporting on stories that really matter. It’s easy to be pessimistic about the state of my chosen field of work, and I certainly don’t blame anyone who has already been working for years as a reporter for feeling that way. But it’s precisely because the industry has so much room to improve and untapped potential that I feel excited to be a part of it soon. 

 

My experience thus far at Colorado State University has been a great one, and I feel confident that I chose the right college. At the moment, this website exclusively contains work that I’ve done for the JTC 211-Visual Communication Class, but this site will continue to be updated to reflect where I’m at in my educational/professional career.
